I'm Kathleen, and I like both sloths and muffins. Muffins because they're delicious, and sloths because while they're slow, they're also very deliberate about what they do, and they seem pretty happy to me. (Also, they're adorable.)
I grew up in a house where our unofficial family motto was "jack of all trades, master of none," so I dabble a little in a lot of creative mediums---I write, I take photographs, I make artist trading cards---but most of what I'll be selling in this shop (for now, anyway) is crocheted.
My mom taught me to crochet when I was about eight or nine, and I made a bunch of chains and started a hat...and then didn't crochet much of anything else until a couple years ago, when I decided that amigurumi was too cute to resist.
I've been enjoying all the wonderful handmade items on the internet (and buying them for myself and as gifts) for a while now, and I'm excited to be sharing my own creations. I hope you like them!
I'm completely convo-friendly, so send me a message if you want to talk about a custom order or just say hi.
All items are made in a smoke-free home with one small, crazy cat who isn't allowed near the yarn.
I have a blog (which I'm going to try to learn to use regularly!) here: http://slothmuffin.blogspot.com/
I was also lucky enough to be featured on the Zibbeters show and tell blog: http://zibbeters.blogspot.com/2010/09/slothmuffin.html
